Home Health: By definition helps patients of all ages in their own home environment to reach prior level of function (PLOF) and/or functional independence for as long as possible, even with an illness or injury. Home health care may include occupational and physical therapy, speech therapy, and skilled nursing. As with any setting, there are regulations that must be followed per local and national home care organizations to be covered by insurance. Please review the below basics of home health and let us know if you have questions.
